This Agate Geode is mainly composed of blue lace agate.  It has a myriad of geo- thermal formations inside one rock.  The outer rim is banded agate.   There is also banded agate clearly seen protruding into the geode. Putting a flash light inside the geode reveals a true column. A column is formed when the growth of the agate formation grows completely from one side to another such as a stalactite growing into a stalagmite. The light can be seen behind the column where the formation does not touch the inner wall making it a true column. Lining the inner surface are many thousands of micro quartz crystals covering dome formations as well as another small stalactite.
